Windows Crate Manager

W-IE-NE-R Crate Remote Control software

The W-IE-NE-R "Windows Crate Manager" is a ready-to-run program to monitor and control WIENER crates within a CAN-bus network. It is available for different CAN-bus interfaces including the WIENER CANP16 PC-ISA bus interface card as well as a parallel port CAN-bus interface.

The software detects automatically all connected crates and reports the status in the "All crate status window". Every crate can be controlled by remote (on/off, SYSRES). Further the fan speed can be adjusted and controlled for each crate

In the induvidual crate window all voltages, currents as well as temperatures and fan speed can be monitored.
In case of crate failures error message are generated which are transferred and processed with highest priority.

The Windows Crate Manager further provides information about hardware idents and internal software releases.

Within the menu system the CAN-bus interface initialization and the hardware set-up (bit rate, general call ID) is available.
