Access to Tape Robot: revisited

• SHIFT service running on E20 (IBM) machine SCSI-connected to STK Silo (2 Timberline drives)

• User Interface: left intact; Kerberos identity is used to check the user rights within TMS (via ARC)

• New 3-Server scheme: TMS Server linked to DB2; TapePool Server (handles all staging requests); RFIO daemon (left intact). TMS and TapePool Servers are written in Perl
