I was supposed send you the procedure (which I got from Vincent Voisin) to generate a firmware 
in the ACE format. 
Its is described at https://forge.in2p3.fr/projects/nectarcam/wiki/HowToGenerateAnAceFile 
but also below in case you  do not have access to the wiki:
Generate an SVF file
*	Connect xilinx USB programing cable to a powered backplane
*	Open Impact software
*	Recognize JTAG chain (XCF04S + X6SLX16)
*	Enter in SVF file mode
*	Asing MCS file to memory (SPI type: AT45DB081D)
*	Program memory (execute program + verify)
*	Close SVF file mode
Convert SVF to ACE
svf2ace_linux -i <BASENAME>.svf -o <BASENAME>.ace -wtck
