| First switch off Feedforward
and stop the modulator with the corresponding gui buttons in the PITZ RF
Control window. |

reboot vmeultra02:
- login on terminal in rack 4 (consol login: root, password can be found
in the PITZ logbook II)
- stop vmeultra02 by typing "init 0"
- wait until the system is down, the type "boot -r"
- switch off the vmeultra02 console

reboot all the vmeultra02 servers:
- open the watchdog window on the PITZ control
- even if all vmeultra02 servers seems to work properly (this ist the
case if they are displayed in green), do not trust the display
- click on the server button (SVR.DSP, SVR.TIMIMG. SVR.IQ, SVR.ADCFAST)
to open the corresponding windows
(gui docu for this window)
- in this window press the buttons Offline -> Kill Server
-> wait -> Start Server -> Online and wait
untill Error: 0 is diplayed again (this may take some time)

restart the RF:
- open the PITZ RF Control window, press the Gun DSP button
- do the Startup procedure: RELEASE button (only
once!) -> wait -> INIT button -> wait
- open the RF OPERATION window and set the recommended values
in the Expert window (these values are documented in the red RF
folder)
- do not forget to check the timing (timing window)
- press the IQ button in the PITZ RF Control window and check,
that the values are set to from 0 to 35
- now the RF can be started from the PITZ RF Control window: start the
modulator and switch on Feedforward starting with low SP values
