Third Announcement

Dear Participant,

Thank you very much for having registered for LATTICE 2001.

Since our last announcement the Local Organizing Committee together with the International Advisory Committee have almost completed arranging the plenary program. On the web page

http://www.desy.de/lattice2001 can be found the list of speakers. We hope you will find the plenary program interesting and covering the important developments of our field in the last year.

We have also brought all O(300) parallel and poster contributions into a preliminary order. Since the LOC had to restrict the number of daily parallel sessions to six, we have shifted a few contributions into the poster session. Please check on our web-pages if your contribution has been shifted. The order of talks has not yet been finalized in all cases and may still change.

Furthermore, we would like to announce that we are going to publish the abstracts on the web on July 21, 2001. In case you do not wish for a publication prior to the conference, please inform us.

Further important information:

Everybody, who has paid the conference fee in advance will receive the receipt at the registration desk in Berlin.
Please, find all necessary technical data about the poster session on the web page under the button 'Info Pages'.
Concerning your arrival, please, note that your name badges are simultaneously tickets for all kinds of public transportation (Bus, Tram, U-Bahn, S-Bahn, Regional-Express trains) in and around Berlin during the time of the conference. Therefore, it makes sense to come to the registration desk first. It will be open at the conference site: Humboldt-University Berlin
