- DØ‘s experience with NT on a PC as a desktop platform has been very positive
- Expect to expand numbers of both Fermilab and university machines
- Action items:
- Continued attention to software license management issues
- Implementation of roaming profiles
- Investigation of hardware reliability issues, including RAID disk arrays and clustered servers
- Increased use of PCs as code development platform
- Potential use of PCs in physics analysis environment
- Fully expect NT to play an important role in future DØ computing
