- The DØ NT system is managed by a single mid-level computing professional. His time is spent, in decreasing order, on:
- holding hands of users who refuse to read documentation
- investigating new products
- installing new machines
- installing new software
- daily system operations (backups)
At our current level of ~ 80 ‘users’, a single system manager is sufficient
