- Clients:
- There are currently more than 30 PCs (~ 1/2 Fermilab, 1/2 university-owned) which run NT Workstation. A typical configuration is:
- Intel 100 MHz Pentium
- 32 MB memory
- 1 GB IDE disk
- 21” color monitor
- 10 Mbit Ethernet
- NT Workstation 3.51 or 4.0
- Cost (new): US$4000 (Superior systems now easily obtainable at similar cost)
- ~ 20 home users with ISDN or dial-up PPP access to Fermilab also run NT Workstation (easy!)
