Integrating HSM(JP1/OmniStorage) and DCE/DFS

• This results the file systems of JP1/OmniStorage, named “Very Big File System(VBFS)” should also be accessed through DFS so that users can use the migration function transparently from any hosts.

• We decided that all files, including user home directories and data files, were accessed through DFS.

But, we found the following problems

in using VBFS through DFS.
