Introduction

• We started the first Tera bytes scale DFS service among HEP laboratories in the world.
• The problems on DCE/DFS to use in HEP computing environment have been solved: integration of HSM, DFS cache mechanism and DFS performance.
• The single file tree was realized for all of the files including files on tapes integrating HSM and DFS.
• DCE is the standard environment at KEK.
