Conclusion

There is the belief that we should be “user driven” and simply implement what the physicists ask
- Unfortunately physicists may not agree between them
- We will go in all directions simultaneously, without providing high quality services
This is true. But we have the responsibility to steer the HEP community in a direction that is
- cost-effective, given the decreasing resources available
- hooked on the comodity market that allows us to outsource tasks at acceptable costs
