Background

Previous small scale tests of LSF were positive and many experiments asked for an NQS replacement during the Summer of 1996.
The Pilot Project was approved by CERN’s FOCUS committee in November.
The goal is to report back in July on the use of LSF for full scale batch work. We would then consider purchase of a Site License.
