OPACS is a generic name for a set of software tool
that helps building interactive, graphics oriented applications.
Developped at LAL Orsay, it is written in ANSI C, and based on
X11 environment. OPACS contains an interactive interface builder
(the Wo package), a 3D library based on OpenGL (the Go package)
and a set of Xt widgets (the Xo package). It proposes also
a generic access to objects of the application.
Being used in NA48, NEMO, KLOE event display, it is also used
as one of the driver of the GEANT4 and BABAR visualization packages.
The OPACS tools will be presented along their use in the GEANT4
environment.
